Advertising on OnlineMotorsport

OnlineMotorsport is steadily growing every month, (doubling in size since the revamp in October 2007) and with the new photo and video changes (July 2008) we expect the site to continue to grow. The economic climate is not the best, so Motorsport oriented companys should look at using OnlineMotorsport as another mechanism to generate sales.

OnlineMotorsport is not funded by an external organisation, entity or association, just a group of motorsport fanatics who are wanting to increase the profile and awareness of the sport.

This website is not cheap to host and maintain as it has a sophisticated Content Management architecture and database, as well as extra servers to host photo images and streaming videos. It will only stay FREE for users to use, if the advertising can pay the costs.

The advertising rates are cheap, and the target market is already captured, and growing. If everyone helps out, it will ensure that the website will stay alive for the benefit of the Motorsport community.

Recent advertising poles suggest that Website advertising is on the increase, while traditional TV and Newspaper advertising is slowly declining. This is due to the nature of people lives. We spend less time watching TV, or mute or fast forward through ads, and we tend to not purchase a newspaper because we can quickly jump onto the internet to catchup with the latest news, as it happens.

The current OnlineMotorsport Basic Advertising rate is cheap at $250 for six months ($50 per month, which includes one month FREE!)

How the OnlineMotorsport Advertising works

For the basic advertising, there are three areas that a company's logo will be visble, at the top and left hand side of every page, and the bottom of the Forum, Photo Gallery and Video Gallery pages.

* The top and bottom banner size is 468 x 60 pixels
* The side banner size is 131 x 131 pixels
* You can change the advertisements as many times as you like in the 6 month period.
* All banner's will rotate around with other advertising. eg, the banner won't be fixed 100% of the time on the screen, it will share its slot with other banners. At the moment, the top and bottom banners share with all banners, while the side banner will share a slot with 1 other banner.

Other advertising options are available, including sponsoring a complete page, eg the Forum or the Video Gallery etc. Please contact us for more details.

Usage Stats for OnlineMotorsport

As at 01/07/2008

* There are currently 780+ registered users.
* Over 6500 unique user were recorded in June. This has doubled from November last year, and before the latest changes (July 2008). That number seems to be rising by about 500 users per month.
* The site gets over 650,000 hits per month
* The Forum page has had over 800,000 impressions (pages viewed), in the last 6 months at an average in the last month of about 5,000 impressions per day.
