2010 Top Half Rally Series | Events

2010 is speeding by, so that means it is time to let you know some series event information.

SO WHAT'S ON FOR 2010
We have 5 exciting rounds in 2010 and with recce avaiable on the rounds that have recce as part of the event.
Remember entry to the series is free, so make sure you enter and be in the chance for class GLORY!

ROUND ONE - Smartwood by Alpwood Possum Bourne Memorial Trophy Rally
Saturday 8 May
Running alongside Rally New Zealand using the WRC stages and setup.  
Stages use parts of former WRC stages with some new sections for 2010
• New Franklin
• Baker
• Te Akau Coast
• Hampton Downs Superspecial as part of the Rally New Zealand Carnival at Hampton Downs
• Service Park at Hampton Downs Race Circuit with additional service time for PBMRT competitors
159.90km of Special Stage distance
Start and Finish in Pukekohe on Saturday
Entry Fee $695.  Recce available for $50.
Options to compete in additional days for a small additional fee for those who want to keep going.

ROUND TWO - Taranaki Tarmac Rally
Saturday 19 June
9 Stages / Special Stage 193kms / Touring 186km / 3 Services
4 stages from last year. A couple of these have been reversed and then some old stages been brought back in to spice it up. The famous railway jump been brought back....but maybe with a caution this year!!!
A short but great piece of road in the afternoon with a bit of everthing in it - Mangamingi Saddle.
4 long stages in the morning 30km, 20km, 33km, 29km, with the shorter but still testing stages in the afternoon.
Supp Regs out around end of March, keep an eye on TCC website www.taranakicarclub.org.nz
For any competitors not entered last year and wish to have a copy of the regs emailed to them once released, email tanya.gwynne@xtra.co.nz and I will ensure this happens

ROUND THREE -  International Rally of Whangarei Clubmans
Saturday 3 July
Running alongside the International Rally of Whangarei FIA Asia Pacific Championship Event using the same stages and setup.  Stages use parts of former WRC stages with some new sections:
• Mititai
• Girls High School
• Otuhui
• Pohe Island Whangarei Superspecial as part of the Family Day
• Single Service Park at Quayside Town Basin Whangarei
143.80km of Special Stage distance
Ceremonial Start in Whangarei City on Friday night
Ceremonial Finish at Quayside Town Basin on Saturday night followed by prizegiving
Entry Fee $695 including Recce
Option to compete on Sunday for $300 for those who want to keep going.

ROUND FOUR - Rally of Gisborne
Saturday 7 August
Using stages near Gisborne      
Start and Finish in Gisborne on Saturday
Scrutineering available on Saturday morning if needed

ROUND FIVE - Rally of the North
Saturday 9 October
Option to pay off the entry over the year, keep an eye on the website for more details
