2010 Top Half Rally Series | SPONSOR

Neil Allport Motorsports Ltd has once again come to the fore to sponsor the Top Half Rally Series.  It was in 2006, under the banner of Ferodo, that Neil last sponsored the series, before it combined with the Central Region Series to become part of the Nth Island Rally Series.  

This time round Neil decided that  STILO would be a better fit, as a majority of competitors now wear STILO helmets.  As part of the sponsorship package, Neil is generously putting up 2 WRC DES composite helmets which will be presented at the final prize giving at Rally of the North.   The recipients of the helmets will be drawn from all the top 3 class winners of the 5 rounds pooled together, so this will give competitors more incentive to at least aim for a top 3 class placing.  If a competitor has a class win over more than one round, their name is only put into the draw once and to win the competitors must be present at the final prize giving, where a voucher will be presented to the lucky winners.  The voucher can only be redeemed for the prize offered, not for cash.

You all have had ample time to get your car prepared for the new season, as the first round doesn’t kick off until May 8th with the Possum Bourne Memorial Rally.  The Rounds are as follows -

There will also be a new website up and running next month (April) where you will be able to download the Series’ Articles and Registration form, link through to the results on Chris Parker’s website, plus much more.

So don’t forget to send in your registrations, there is no excuse saying you can’t afford to, as this year it is free and think of the prizes up for grabs.
